My Neighbor Egged My Car Because it Was ‘Blocking The View’ of His Halloween Decorations

Marry, a sleep-deprived single mom of twins, was juggling her responsibilities—caring for her babies and tackling daily tasks—when she discovered her car had been egged. At first, she assumed it was a prank by the neighborhood kids, and she was frustrated at the thought of wasting time and money to clean it.

But as she surveyed the scene, she noticed some eggshells scattered in the yard of her neighbor, Brad. That's when it clicked—Brad was the culprit.

When Marry confronted him, Brad admitted to the act, explaining that her car was blocking the view of his beloved Halloween decorations. Known as the neighborhood's Halloween enthusiast, Brad took great pride in transforming his house into a haunted masterpiece, investing both time and money to ensure it was the best on the block.

Marry explained that she had parked her car close because, as a mom of twins, she had to make multiple trips carrying babies, strollers, and bags each day. Brad, however, was unmoved and brushed off her concerns, saying he didn't care.

Too exhausted to argue, Marry chose to let it go, but as she headed home, an idea for the perfect payback began to form.

Knowing Brad's obsession with Halloween, Marry suggested he could take his decorations to the next level and even recommended a few websites selling high-tech fog machines and ghost projectors. Brad was thrilled by the idea, completely unaware that Marry had pointed him toward one-star products notorious for malfunctions and breakdowns.

Marry waited patiently for the chaos to unfold.

On Halloween night, Brad was overjoyed as his decorations drew admiration from everyone, especially the eerie fog and ghost projections. But midway through the evening, disaster struck. The fog machine began to spray water instead of mist, and the ghost projector malfunctioned, distorting the images. The neighborhood kids found it hilarious, and Brad was devastated as his much-anticipated display fell apart.

To make matters worse, his giant inflatable Frankenstein deflated, and some kids even threw eggs at his house.

What should have been a night to remember quickly turned into a disaster.

The next morning, a defeated Brad knocked on Marry’s door. He looked as deflated as his Frankenstein decoration.

When Marry answered, Brad apologized for egging her car, admitting that he had overreacted.

Marry accepted his apology with a quiet, "Things have a way of balancing out."

Though she almost felt sorry for him, Marry was satisfied that Brad had learned his lesson.
