Scabies is exactly what its name suggests.
This skin condition is characterized by scattered blisters, often appearing on areas of thinner skin. It’s caused by a tiny female parasite called Sarcoptes scabiei hominis, which burrows into the upper and middle layers of the skin to lay eggs and develop.

These burrows lead to intense itching and discomfort, especially at night when symptoms tend to worsen.
